DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION INTERNSHIP

For six weeks, I worked as a design and construction intern for Cielo Properties, LLC in Vieques, Puerto Rico designing and constructing tiny living quarters for on-site workers.
The living quarters involved the adaptation of a shipping container that brought machinery and equipment to the Vieques site. The work also included designing and building a septic and soak-away system for the off-grid container home (and a second container home planned for the future) as well as planning the other structural and mechanical systems.
